What saith the Scriptures on Christ and why He cameMatthew 20v28: Even as the Son of man came not to be mistered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. Here Christ tells us that He came not to be served, but to serve. He came to give His life a ransom for many.

Christ tells us here He came not to judge men, not to destroy their lives, nor to condemn them but to save them.
Luke 19v10: For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
Christ here tells us that He came to save the lost. John 10v10: The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
